Apple Reminders integration is currently in beta. Behavior may change in future updates, and there may be occasional delays or limitations when syncing.
Open the Reminders section from the sidebar.
If you haven't created any reminders yet, the screen will appear empty. You'll see an option to set up Apple Reminders integration.
When you first open Reminders, you'll be prompted to set up Apple Reminders sync. You can skip this and set it up later from Settings.
Click the Set Up button to begin syncing with Apple Reminders
Toggle on "Sync to Apple Reminders"
Allow FinyxFin to access your Reminders when prompted
Select which reminder types to sync (custom, bills, loans)
Your reminders will now sync to Apple Reminders
Choose which types of reminders to sync with Apple Reminders:
You can enable or disable any category at any time. Disabled categories won't appear in Apple Reminders.
Want bill reminders in Apple Reminders but not loan reminders? No problem — toggle each category independently based on your preferences.
When sync is enabled, FinyxFin automatically creates a dedicated reminder list called "FinyxFin" inside the Apple Reminders app. All synced reminders appear in this list, keeping them organized and separate from your other reminders.
After syncing is complete, you'll see a status indicator showing that reminders are synced. The status updates to confirm successful synchronization.

Navigate to the Reminders section from the sidebar
Start creating a new reminder
Add title, date, time, and any notes
Your reminder is created and syncs to Apple Reminders (if enabled)
Once created, reminders automatically appear both inside FinyxFin and in Apple Reminders (based on your sync settings). No manual sync required!
When Apple Reminders sync is enabled, your FinyxFin reminders appear across all your Apple devices:

Ask Siri about your reminders: "What bills are due this week?" or "Show my FinyxFin list" to hear your upcoming reminders.
Because Apple Reminders integration is in beta, please be aware of these limitations:
If you experience issues with sync, you can disable Apple Reminders integration at any time from Settings → Notifications. Your reminders in FinyxFin won't be affected.
To turn off Apple Reminders sync:
Your FinyxFin reminders remain in the app. You can choose whether to keep or remove existing reminders from the Apple Reminders app.
