If your reminders list is empty, FinyxFin shows a guided empty state so you can either create your first reminder manually or quickly enable suggested reminders.

Open Reminders

Go to the Reminders section from the sidebar.

Tap Add Reminder

Select the main Add Reminder button or use the add action from the toolbar.

Enter Reminder Details

Add a title, due date, optional time, repeat schedule, and any notes.

Your reminder will appear inside FinyxFin and, if enabled, sync to Apple Reminders.

🍎 Setting Up Apple Reminders Sync

If you want reminders available in Apple's ecosystem, you can sync supported reminders to the Apple Reminders app.

🍎 Included with Premium

Once Premium is active, you can enable Apple Reminders sync from the Reminders screen and access your reminders across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

Open the Reminders Screen

Go to Reminders and find the Sync with Apple Reminders card.

Tap Set Up

Start the Apple Reminders setup flow from the setup button shown on the card.

Grant Permission

Allow FinyxFin to access the Reminders app when prompted by the system.

Finish Setup

FinyxFin creates a dedicated reminders list and syncs supported reminders into it.

Synced reminders are placed inside a dedicated FinyxFin list in Apple Reminders so they stay separate from your personal or work reminder lists.

🔄 How Apple Reminders Sync Works

FinyxFin primarily syncs reminders from FinyxFin into Apple Reminders.

🔕 Disabling Apple Reminders Sync

If you no longer want reminders synced to Apple Reminders, you can turn sync off from the Reminders area.

Open the Reminders screen
Open the Apple Reminders integration controls
Turn off sync
Choose whether to keep or remove the existing synced reminders, if the app provides that option

ℹ️ Important

Disabling Apple sync does not remove reminders from FinyxFin itself. It only affects the Apple Reminders connection.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Apple Reminders Setup Does Not Start

Make sure Premium is active
Restart the app and try the setup button again
Check that Reminders access has not been denied previously

Reminders Are Not Appearing in Apple Reminders

Verify that sync has been enabled successfully
Check Reminders permission in system settings
Look for the dedicated FinyxFin list
Give iCloud and Apple Reminders a moment to propagate changes

Duplicates or Unexpected Entries

Avoid creating the same reminder manually in both apps
Use FinyxFin as the main place to create and edit financial reminders
If needed, disable and re-enable sync to rebuild the Apple Reminders side cleanly
