1. Overview

FinyxFin stores your financial data locally on your device and optionally within your Apple iCloud account.

2. Data Collection

We do not operate servers to collect or store your financial data. Optional diagnostics logs remain local to your device unless you choose to export them.

FinyxFin does not use advertising SDKs or behavioral tracking technologies.

Apple may collect limited diagnostics or usage data according to your device settings. We do not receive your financial records from Apple.

3. Access to Data

We cannot access, view, or retrieve your personal financial data stored on your device or within iCloud.

4. iCloud Sync

iCloud sync may be enabled by default to help keep your data consistent across your Apple devices. You can manage iCloud settings at any time through your device settings.

If enabled, Apple manages syncing across your devices. Data may be stored on Apple infrastructure located in various regions.

iCloud functionality is provided by Apple Inc. Data stored within iCloud is subject to Apple's privacy and security practices.

iCloud infrastructure may store data in different geographic regions depending on Apple's systems.

Because FinyxFin relies on Apple device storage and Apple iCloud services, data availability may depend on the proper functioning of these systems. Users are encouraged to create periodic backups using the tools provided within the app.

5. Permissions

The App may request access to notifications, files, reminders, or device storage to enable optional features such as backups, imports, exports, and reminders. These permissions are user-controlled.

6. Imports & Exports

All imports and exports occur locally on your device. Files are stored only where you choose.

Diagnostics & Debug Logs

FinyxFin may generate optional technical diagnostics logs to help investigate app performance issues or technical errors such as sync delays, backup failures, or import problems.

These logs:

• are created locally on your device

• never include financial data such as transactions, balances, accounts, or categories

• never include personal identifiers

• are not automatically transmitted to us

You may:

• enable or disable diagnostics logging

• review logs before sharing

• choose whether to export logs

Exporting diagnostics logs is entirely optional and initiated by you.

FinyxFin does not automatically collect or receive diagnostics data.

Exchange Rates

When you use currency conversion features in FinyxFin, the app may request reference exchange rates from a third-party service, Frankfurter API.

Only currency codes required for the conversion request are sent. FinyxFin does not send your financial records, transaction descriptions, account names, balances, or personal information for exchange rate lookups.

Reference exchange rates are typically updated once per day and may differ from real-time market rates or the rates offered by banks and payment providers.

7. Security

Security depends on your device protections such as passcode or biometric authentication.

8. Device Responsibility

If your device or Apple account is compromised, we are not responsible for unauthorized access.

9. Children

FinyxFin is not directed to children under 13.

10. Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

11. Data Retention

Your data remains under your control and is retained only as long as you choose to keep it.

12. Your Choices

You may delete your data at any time within the App, remove the App from your device, or disable iCloud sync through your device settings.

You may also contact us to request clarification regarding how the App handles data.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If changes are significant, we may provide notice within the App where feasible.
