đ How Sync Works
FinyxFin List
FinyxFin creates a dedicated list called "FinyxFin" in your Apple Reminders app. All synced items appear in this list, keeping them organized and separate from your other reminders.
Automatic Sync
Syncing happens automatically:
- When you create/edit: Changes sync immediately
- On app launch: Full sync when you open FinyxFin
- When returning to app: Quick sync to catch changes made in Apple Reminders
Two-Way Sync
When you complete a reminder in Apple Reminders:
- The completion syncs back to FinyxFin
- Bills are marked as paid
- Recurring items generate the next occurrence
đ Identifier System
FinyxFin uses a smart identifier system to link items between apps. This ensures edits in either app stay in sync without duplicates.
đŖī¸ Using with Siri
Once sync is enabled, you can ask Siri about your FinyxFin reminders:
Example Commands
what bills are due this week?
show my FinyxFin list
what's on my FinyxFin reminders?
remind me about rent on the first
mark electricity bill as complete
Siri will read out your upcoming bills and due dates, making it easy to stay on top of payments hands-free.
â Apple Watch Integration
With Apple Reminders sync enabled, your FinyxFin reminders appear on your Apple Watch:
- Reminders App: View your FinyxFin list directly
- Complications: Add reminders to your watch face
- Notifications: Get alerts for upcoming due dates
- Quick Complete: Mark items done from your wrist
đĄ Tip
Add the Reminders complication to your watch face for at-a-glance bill due dates throughout the day.

â Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this a Premium feature?
Yes, Apple Reminders sync requires an active FinyxFin Premium subscription.
Q: Will my existing bills sync automatically?
Yes! When you enable sync, all your existing bills, loans, and goals with due dates will be synced to Apple Reminders.
Q: What if I edit a reminder in Apple Reminders?
Most changes sync back to FinyxFin. Completing a reminder marks the corresponding bill as paid. However, we recommend making amount and date changes in FinyxFin for best results.
Q: Do recurring bills create recurring reminders?
Yes! Recurring bills in FinyxFin create corresponding recurring reminders in Apple Reminders with the same frequency.
Q: Will this use extra battery?
Minimal impact. Sync only happens when you use the app or when changes occur â there's no constant background activity.
Q: Can I sync to a different Reminders list?
Currently, FinyxFin creates and uses its own dedicated "FinyxFin" list. This keeps your financial reminders organized separately from other reminders.
Q: What happens if I deny Reminders permission?
Sync won't work without permission. You can grant it later in iOS Settings â FinyxFin â Reminders.
Q: Does this work on Mac?
Yes! If you enable sync on your iPhone, your FinyxFin reminders will appear in Reminders on your Mac via iCloud.
